Concorso d'Eleganza Villa d'Este

Each May the prestige class new & antique car show comes into Cernobbio town like an ultra-fabulous circus.  There are two venues; one private and one public.  The former is held on the grounds of Villa D'Este. Reserved for guests of the luxe hotel and its sponsors.  The later, also in Cernobbio and only a short distance away, is held at Villa Erba.  Both venues have the most valuable cars in the world on display in a gorgeous, lake side setting.  On view: Historic Cars, Historic Motorcycles, Concept Cars & Prototypes. Awards are given by jury for different classes, but also the Coppa d'Oro Villa d'Este is awarded to the public's favorite.
